Our chapter loves having the opportunity to give back to our community, and twice a year Ozark MOMS Club members select a local charitable organization to support. These organizations always focus on children, mothers and/or families, and are voted on by our members at a monthly meeting.
Some examples of service projects our club has done for partner organizations include:
- hosting a club-wide annual garage sale where all proceeds benefit our non-profit partner. The sale has raised as much as several thousand dollars for our partner charities.
- donating new or gently used supplies is needed by our non-profit partner organization, including school supplies, maternity items, diapers and baby/child necessities.
- cooking and serving meals at area shelters.
- inviting organization families to holiday events.
